Two special announcements

1. In this class period, we will enjoy a tour of the research laboratory of Dr. Courtney Murdock. We will meet in the College of Veterinary Medicine at 501 D.W. Brooks Drive. Enter the main door (with the big columns) and meet the class in the lobby promptly at 2:30. The reading for the class is available here.
2. Your first writing assignment is due. Please print a copy of the writing prompt, staple it to your assignment, and turn in at the beginning of class.
