Here is a reminder from the FYO program about the events requirement.

We are excited that the semester is underway and hope you are enjoying your First-Year Odyssey seminar.  As part of the First-Year Odyssey Seminar program, you are required to attend three FYO events.  Attending these events will help you learn about the resources available on campus and to become engaged in the cultural and intellectual life of the University. There are many events to choose from, including musical performances, films, and visiting speakers, or you may participate in five hours of service to the community through VolunteerUGA as one event.

These events appear online on the FYO website at fyo.uga.edu under the Events tab:  https://fyo.uga.edu/BrowseEvents.aspx

Unless your instructor requires that you attend one or more events as part of your FYO, please select three events from those listed on the website. At the end of the semester, you will be asked which events you attended and asked for your input about the events.
