Assignment:  Devise an effect size measure based on a study that you have conducted (or one that you might conduct in the future).  Explain the question; describe the experiment and resulting data; define how you would quantify “effect size” with these data; justify the way you’ve defined effect (especially in light of possible alternatives).  Email your response as a pdf to the instructor by 8am on the day of the next class (Tuesday, Aug 30 at 8am).
